Meet Mormorist No.1: Pratya Raktabutr

Pratya Raktabutr is one of very few in Thailand with real passions for ceramics. A graduate from Rangsit University and Canberra School of Art with experiences in Japan and exhibitions in Bangkok, Chiangmai, Australia and most recently China, Pratya teaches in many major ceramic schools in Thailand, including Silpakorn University and Chulalongkorn University.

Pratya is an expert in clay forming through the use of moulds and raku/smoke firing, a mad potter in his own right. That is why Pratya is now working on his small-kiln project, which aims to provide affordable facilities for anyone interested in working with clay. There are more than a few projects in line after CRACK. All of them are initiated by Pratya - our number 1 shaker&mover !!!
